ANALIS’ recent acquisition of ARDESTA will allow the company to offer integrated solutions of scientific instruments alongside installation of state-of-the art furniture for laboratories securing jobs for those currently employed.
With the recent announcement of 100% acquisition of holdings of the sprl ARDESTA, ANALIS becomes the unique shareholder of the SME, specialized in the conception, manufacturing and installation of laboratory furniture. Thanks to this acquisition, ANALIS, with over 85 years of experience specializing in the distribution, service, manufacturing and design of scientific laboratory equipment, will be able to broaden its range of activity. Until now, the company has been primarily oriented towards research activities, life sciences, biotechnology, medical in vitro diagnosis and industrial quality control. Located in Suarlée (Namur) and Sint-Denijs-Westrem (Gent), it is already a well-referenced company in its domain, with the expertise of more than 130 highly qualified employees representing the company. Its main activity has involved the distribution, maintenance and application support for a wide range of scientific instruments for clinical, industrial and university laboratories as well as for fundamental research.

The diversified fields of application of such equipment comprise: analysis of blood parameters in biological clinics, analysis in biotechnology (Genomics / Proteomics / Cellomics) and chemistry, quality control of materials, color and surface analysis, quality control in the food-processing industry, environmental analysis, as well as other specific types of analyses.

ARDESTA behind ANALIS’ integration of new laboratory installations

ARDESTA, a small SPRL located in Boirs (Liege), essentially active in the Walloon part of Belgium and comprising 6 employees with over 40 years of experience in the production of laboratory furniture and equipment (lab tables, shelving, consoles, work stations, fume hoods) and specific systems of extraction with all the desired connections (water, gas, evacuation, electricity), will be providing standard or custom-made solutions for project development, renovation and new laboratory installations.

A win-win solution for ANALIS and ARDESTA
This strategic acquisition is twofold, allowing on the one hand for ARDESTA to maintain its employment structure by guaranteeing the jobs already intact within the Belgian-qualified SPRL and expand its activities to entire Belgium and Luxembourg, and on the other hand for ANALIS to increase its range of activity in its market sector. ANALIS has expressed its confidence in the integration of the ARDESTA brand and recognises the added value ARDESTA will bring by providing excellent products for standard and customized project design. By combining resources, ANALIS and ARDESTA will offer laboratories efficient and global solutions for each installation of laboratory furniture and scientific equipment and furthermore will allow ARDESTA to expand its product range.

Thanks to the experience, expertise and qualification of these two Belgian entities, this new combination of services promises to be a fundamental root for growth and development; in a first step for the Belux region and a second step for Benelux and North of France.
